Title of Clip Costume & Make-Up Lighting & Colour Actor Movement/ Placement Setting & Props Iron Man 3 Denotation: I can see him wearing rings, and armour. Connotations: This has connotations of him trying to protect himself as he's wearing armour. Denotation: a big bomb happened when it was dark and made everything a red/orange colour. Connotations: this could have connotations of danger because if there was a bomb that could be dangerous. Denotation: I can see him flying ,and him fighting. Connotations: this has connotations of him being strong and trying to be hero . Denotation: I can see the setting is a normal town but when iron man is there , then there's a different setting. Camera movement and editing
Three aspects of camera movements: tilt - from the screen to the person looking at the screen . this shows that somebody is out there looking for the main character.. this is when the people are getting on the plane , handheld - when their on the train you can see the camera is wobbly and moving when they walk . this shows that their trying to chase him. crane - camera attached to crane pan , track or 'swoop' in or out as required.
