Blog feedback and learner response.

  WWW: Overall a good start to your time in Media Studies, it seems like you are enjoying the subject and want to do well which is reflected in your earlier blog tasks.     Next Steps:   Use the titles in the tracker shown above to correct some of your blog post titles so that they match what has been asked for on Macguffin .   Your Mise- en -scene analysis of the Stranger Things clip still needs completing and adding to your Mise- en -scene blog post.   Your Camerawork blog post still needs completing with the final task not yet started.   Begin to personalise your blog. This is going to be your workbook for the next 2 years. Use the layout and theme tools on blogger to alter the site to reflect your personality.   Go back to your first LIAR analysis on the movie poster and try to apply some of our most recent knowledge to the ‘Language’ part of this analysis. Consider Mise- en -scene and Camera Shots/Angles especially.  

Camera movement and editing

 Three aspects of camera movements: Tilt - A tilt is when the camera moves vertically, either up or down , from a fixed position. This movement is often used to slowly reveal information to the audience, such as showing a character from feet to face or revealing something important in a scene . It can build tension and anticipation because the audience has to wait to see what is being shown . This makes the moment more dramatic and keeps the viewer focused on key details. handheld - Hand held camera movement is when the camera is held by a person instead of being placed on a tripod , which makes the footage look shaky and less stable . This creates a sense of realism, as if the audience is actually there in the scene , It is often used in action or chase scenes to make them feel more intense , chaotic , and urgent . 1. Camera Shots This is a two shot that allows you to see two characters in a medium close up so that we can equally focus on how both characters are responding to the same moment. This is an over the shoulder shot that allows you to see her body but not head to toe and see the background. this can show her body language . shes standing straight which alerts shes paying attention to whats infront of her. This is a medium close up that shows her full face and a bit of her shoulders . this shot shows shes talking but looks concerned and worried. 2. Camera angles This shows he is seen as a smaller subject as hes looking at something bigger then him as he is looking upwards. 3. mise en scene The props shes using is a passport . This is because shes trying to show who she is by using her passport and telling them shes former prime minister .

   Title of Clip Costume & Make-Up Lighting & Colour Actor Movement/ Placement Setting & Props Iron Man 3 Denotation: I can see  him wearing rings, and armour. Connotations: This has connotations of him trying to protect himself as he's wearing armour. Denotation: a big bomb happened when it was dark and made everything a red/orange colour. Connotations: this could have connotations of danger because if there was a bomb that could be dangerous. Denotation: I can see him flying ,and him fighting. Connotations: this has connotations of him being strong and trying to be hero . Denotation: I can see the setting is a normal town but when iron man is there , then there's a  different setting. Connotations: this has connotations of him being the main character as everything changes when he's there. RDR2 Denotations: I can see  them wearing cowboy wearing jackets.
