 Denotations and Connotations. Denotation: In the advert the company name "WaterAid" it also shows a young boy who looks like he's having a hard time . it also says dig toilets not graves. Connotation: This suggests its helping people that are struggling and need water , and the heading in the advert suggests people don't have access to toilets and its hard for them this suggests its sad, hard etc. its also bad for them as they might not have access to warm showers.  Analysis: This helps the audience understand that young children and adults in the world don't have access to things like others do and understanding their struggles.
