Connotations: This has connotations of him trying to protect himself as he's wearing armour. Denotation: a big bomb happened when it was dark and made everything a red/orange colour. Connotations: this could have connotations of danger because if there was a bomb that could be dangerous. Denotation: I can see him flying ,and him fighting.
